Many women’s health services can be provided in the primary care clinic without the need to see an OB-GYN provider. These include:

  • Well-women exams
  • Breast and cervical cancer screenings
  • Contraception counseling and prescribing
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Menopausal symptom screening, testing, and management

Seeing a familiar primary care provider can make these sensitive exams to be more comfortable for some women. Referrals can be made to a higher level of care or to an OB-GYN specialist as needed based on exam findings. Our clinic offers a holistic approach to women’s health and care is provided based on the patient’s needs and what the patient individually is facing as their challenges with their health.
