About Jeuveau
Jeuveau can restore a more rejuvenated and youthful-looking appearance. Jeuveau relaxes lines and wrinkles, particularly those that develop between the brows (glabellar lines). Jeauveau is derived from the protein botulinum toxin A, which blocks the neurotransmitters that cause repeated facial movements, thereby preventing the formation of wrinkles in the treated area. Neuromodulator treatments, such as Jeuveau, are often considered the most popular minimally invasive cosmetic treatment in the country; specialists administered more than 9.88 million of these treatments in 2024 alone. Benefits
Patients who receive Jeuveau often experience a myriad of benefits, which include:
- Short Treatment Time: Our injection specialists can perform this treatment in less than 30 minutes, allowing patients to return to their routines in no time.
- Minimal Recovery: There is no downtime associated with Jeuveau. This means you will be able to return to your routine immediately, with very minor restrictions—if any.
- Revitalized Appearance: Jeuveau specifically targets the wrinkles between the brows, restoring a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
- Non-Surgical Nature: This treatment can help you achieve natural-looking rejuvenation without any incisions or general anesthesia.
- Quick Onset of Effects: Many patients notice the development of their results in just days, with what many consider to be a potentially faster onset compared to other neuromodulators.
- High Safety Profile: Jeuveau is considered by injectors to be safe and well-tolerated, especially when expert injectors administer treatment.
Candidates
Candidates for Jeuveau typically include men or women under the age of 65 interested in addressing the glabellar lines with a minimally invasive treatment. Anyone interested in receiving Jeuveau injections should be in good general health and maintain realistic expectations regarding their results. Jeuveau is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or anyone with any allergies or sensitivities to its ingredients. Your injection specialist will finalize your candidacy during your consultation.
Personal Consultation
During your personal consultation, one of our expert injection specialists meets with you individually to determine whether Jeuveau is right for you. They will ask you about your medical history, current prescriptions, treatment goals, and aesthetic concerns. They will also evaluate your skin, as well as your overall facial anatomy, taking a careful look at the areas they will target. They will use this information to create your personalized injection plan and potentially recommend additional treatments, if suitable.
To schedule your consultation, please contact us online. If you have any questions or would prefer scheduling your consultation over the phone, please call our Lake Havasu City or Kingman offices at (928) 302-3798.
Procedure
Your injector can administer your Jeuveau injections in either our Lake Havasu City or Kingman office. The process typically takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Upon your arrival, your injector will cleanse and sanitize your skin. They will then carefully mark the predetermined injection sites, targeting the muscles responsible for the repeated contractions that wear on the skin. Jeuveau is specifically indicated for the glabellar lines.
Your injection specialist uses a fine needle to administer the appropriate amount of Jeuveau. Patients describe the sensation of the treatment as a quick pinch or slight pressure, similar to a flu shot. After they inject the formula into the targeted muscles, you can resume your normal routine!
Recovery
One of the many benefits of Jeuveau is its minimal downtime! You will be free to return to most of your daily activities immediately after your treatment, although we may recommend you follow certain guidelines initially.
For example, it can be beneficial to remain upright and avoid touching or placing pressure on the treated areas for several hours. We also recommend avoiding strenuous or physically demanding activities for 24-48 hours. While there is no downtime associated with this injectable, it is normal to experience minor swelling or redness in the treated areas. These effects are temporary and will dissipate on their own.
Results
You will be able to notice initial improvements in your appearance after 2-3 days, with the full results developing after 1-2 weeks. (3) The targeted muscles relax, and the skin in the treated area will appear smoother, thus softening the wrinkles between the eyebrows. You will be able to enjoy a more relaxed and refreshed appearance without looking “frozen.”
The longevity of your results may vary depending on your metabolism, lifestyle, and muscle activity. The results of Jeuveau typically last for around 3-4 months. After the results wear off, you will become eligible to return for reinjection if you would like to preserve the effects of your treatment.
